Anniversary Wines was created in 2009 to offer solutions to the fine wine needs of private individuals in the Czech Republic.

Our aim is to enable our clients to expand their knowledge and enjoyment of world class wine. Today in the Czech Republic the range of fine wines available to private customers, at reasonable prices, is limited. We seek out from global producers and European specialist merchants, small parcels of the finest wines and offer these at the best possible prices. We are striving to provide a unique personal service, whilst delivering exceptional value for each client.

Clients of the firm are provided exclusive access to our interactive website, in which our full list of nearly 500 top class wines from around the world is accessible, and order requests may be submitted via our "wish list" functionality. Buying strategy

We aim to maintain a stock in our cellars of high quality wines from all of the world's major wine growing regions. We source wines directly from producers, from other specialist merchants, from wine auctions and even from private collectors. We only buy when we think a wine offers excellent value for the quality offered. We have no specific commitments to particular producers, and offer an entirely independent service.

We specialise in identifying parcels of mature and rare wines. This is partly to satisfy our clients' needs for special bottles to celebrate special ocasions (our "Anniversary Wine" selection), but also to enable our clients to taste and enjoy wines at their peak. Most merchants tend to focus on sales of young wines, the finest of which may require storage for several years before realizing their best. We aim to provide a service for clients who do not have the facilities or patience to wait for the finest wines to mature.

This buying strategy also allows us to source a remarkably wide range of wines, allowing our clients to explore regions and wines that are not normally available in the Czech Republic. It does, however, mean that the quantities available in stock are often very limited. Our "wish list" order system allows us to respond quickly, once clients have identified wines they are interested in. For wines that are out of stock we are usually able to offer alternative suggestions, or place orders with our suppliers to source the same or similar wine in our next shipment.

With this strategy we are also able to fulfill customised client requests. In effect, our potential wine list includes some 100,000 producers of fine wine globally. Whether clients are interested in a particular bottle or vintage, or a selection from a region that is unfamiliar, we can source the wines to most specifications.
